Sustainability and Us
Let’s be frank: the most sustainable choice is not to consume at all. Knowing that the world has no shortage of clothes, I’m aware that making anything new in this day and age comes with a responsibility to do so as sustainably as possible. Here’s how we're doing it:
-
Made in London: Our garments are crafted by skilled professionals in London, where craftspeople are paid a living wage.
-
Made-to-order ethos: We produce only what is wanted, avoiding wasteful overproduction. Did you know many brands send brand-new surplus stock to landfills? We’re not about that.
-
Thoughtfully sourced fabrics: Our first collection uses 100% OEKO-TEX® certified cotton. Single-fiber fabrics like this are recyclable, unlike multi-blends, and OEKO-TEX ensures they’re free of over 1000 harmful chemicals often found in fashion.
-
Eco-conscious packaging: Packaging and labels are biodegradable and/or made from recycled materials.
This is just the beginning. As Bonkers Bon Coeur grows, we're committed to pushing sustainability even further, with traceable fabrics and more innovative practices on the horizon. Sign up to the newsletter for updates.
